I'm new to Blogging, I don't even know if people will bother to read anything that I write, well type. Let me begin with an introduction. I am KMickeyChelle, at least that will be my name on here, after all it's anonymous. I have two girls who are 8 and nearly 4, I also have three soon to be step children, almost 18, 10 and 5. At the ripe old age of 29 I have a child now who is almost 18, he is 6'1"; I still can't believe it but my fiance is 7 years older than I am. Because we are both divorced, we have a kid free weekend and a family weekend, my fiance only has our family weekends' off from working. We began going to yard-sales I would say a year ago and I am admitting now that I am addicted. I go every family weekend and some kid free weekends as well. I go to craigslist and plan our course and if there are a few along the way we stop. I can now ride by and know whether it's worth stopping, I can go look at the price of something and turn right back around because I know what that same thing is suppose to cost me. It's amazing how some people decide that they have absolutely no room for something but feel compelled to sell it at
nearly the same price they bought it for. People the minute you use something the price has depreciated immensely, most people that come to your yard sale could care less what you paid for something, it is our absolute goal to get the best price possible, that means little to nothing for your items. I sound like a cheapskate but I'm not shopping at Dillards, or Target, not even Wal-Mart, I am walking up to your Drive-way, your Garage or just your Yard. I can tell you that aside from my T.V. and our Hand me down furniture nearly everything in my living room has come from yard sales.
I call this my Under $10 Table, everything combined was under $10 that is.
